I partner with organizations, businesses and practitioners working on the front lines supporting women in transition, survivors, young adults, youth and students —helping them build programs that are effective, sustainable, and grounded in the values they support.

Consulting Work

Areas of focus:

  • Program development — Designing service programming, curricula for group facilitation; support with hiring, onboarding, program management and organisation

  • Policy and practice consultation — Reviewing and strengthening clinical policies, intake processes, and service delivery models for crisis centres, education programs and community agencies

  • Staff training — Workshops on trauma-informed care, anti-oppressive practice, youth and student wellbeing and supporting survivors of trafficking and sexual violence

Work experience:

  • Leading two not for profit youth programs in the education and rape crisis centre sectors servicing approximately 120 individuals (ages 12 to 25) per annum (2015-2019; 2026 to present)

  • Developing counselling policies and practice frameworks for a local rape crisis centre including support with hiring and onboarding a counselling and crisis team (2025 -present)

  • Creating support policies, programming and trainings for peer survivors of human trafficking and gender-based violence (2021)

  • Designing and implementing a temporary emergency shelter program for survivors of human trafficking in York Region (2025)

  • Providing training and panel presentations to service providers (private practitioners, community of practice, first-responders, peer support) to strengthen responses human trafficking prevention and intervention (2020 to present) and educators to expand their toolkit for inclusive community based services for high school students (TDSB 2018).

  • Creating and facilitating group counselling and peer-led programming for students, and survivors of sexual violence and human trafficking (2017 to present)
